eRx4MD/emr4MD is produced by MedNet which is certified as a SureScripts Solution Provider. eRx4MD is SureScripts certified for all three types of services related to prescription management: Prescription Benefit, Medication History, and Prescription Routing. In 2008, two of our clients received national recognition as SafeRx Award recipients, ranking #1 & #2, for their effective use of electronic prescription writing using eRx4MD software. eRX4MD is diagnosis driven and electronically connected to over 55,000 retail pharmacies as well as mail-order pharmacies. Electronically submit e-fax or print a prescription safely and securely.

eRX4MD is a seamless element of our electronic health records system; however, it can be purchased and operated independently for those practices not quite ready for a full EHR system.

Evidence Based Decision Support tools provide objective medication therapy decision support as well as access to drug and dosing information.

Auto Drug Interaction Checker checks for potential drug to allergy, drug to ADR (adverse drug reactions), and drug to drug based interactions with evidence based data.

Patient Summary stores complete patient problem, medication, and allergy information for each patient along with associated medications and alerts, on a single, easy-to-read summary page.

Medication Summary provides detailed prescription history lists of any medication (all begin and end dates, all refills, where/when the medication was sent, and who prescribed and authorized the medication), all with just a click.

Electronic Refill Requests are received from the pharmacy directly to the ordering provider's dashboard as well as in the patient's medical records chart for electronic response. Submitted prescriptions automatically update the patient's medication record.

Practice Management is fully integrated and pulls pertinent patient data, including real time formulary, previous medication history, and pharmacy benefits information, as well as appointment schedules, all seamlessly.

Prescriptions are automatically routed to the patient's preferred pharmacy or mail-order pharmacy electronically through the SureScripts interface. Prescriptions can also be printed at the office, or e-faxed using emr4MD optional e-fax module.

Patient Education Medication Handouts can be reviewed or printed on demand. Handouts provide comprehensive medication therapy information about missed dose, precautions, uses, and side effects for a specified prescription.
